I mean to update this blog more regularly but my brain space is taken up by too many other things!

My sequel to The Darkest Woods, titled Code of Retribution, came out at the beginning of July, then near the end I published my first children’s book, titled The Learned Cat. A fully illustrated poem for lovers of books and cats alike! All books are available on Amazon, though unlike the others The Learned Cat is only available in paperback, not ebook.

I’ve been writing a lot of poetry recently. Not as many about autumn as usual but some, I confess. I just love autumn!!!!!

In addition, I’ve recently updated my website with various things including more art for sale. I went through a period of discovering oil pastels and playing with those, then I put them down for a couple of months, but I did do a new piece today (Carloway Broch) which I have put up in my traditional art store.

I’ve decided I need to start redrafting my next book. It’s not part of the Machinations series, but something wholly different. I just hope people enjoy it too when it’s ready to be released to the world.
